Handle -- Choose a traditional leather handle, or our exclusive exclusive wrapped leather spiral handle with grooves for superior grip (add $12).
Cap -- Plain with no trim, or our exclusive rope edge design.
Engraving -- Includes single-letter or traditional 3-letter (First/LAST/middle initial) engraving. For men's block-style lettering, contact Amy to discuss, (920)/470-8381. Please read engraving instuctions cafefully to ensure letters are entered in the correct order.
Color -- Black is standard, but this whip style is available in Dark French Navy or Chocolate by special request. Black velvet handle sleeve included.
Here is a general guideline for choosing the correct whip length, which is usually based on the height of the rider. If in doubt please consult your trainer.
- 28" whip -- Child sized, usually age 10 and under
- 31" whip -- Most popular size, works for most junior exhibitors and riders
- 36" whip -- For riders over 5'7" and those who prefer a bit more length
Per whip industry standards, whips are sized by measuring from the top of the handle to the tip of the metal or fiberglass whip shaft. The flexible popper at the tip (see last photo) is not considered "usable" length, but does add 4". So for example a 31" whip has a total length of 35" -- 31" of handle and shaft, and 4" of popper.
Allow 2-3 weeks for us to make your whip. This item has a $10 flat rate shipping fee, and ships via UPS Ground. If ordering multiple whips, actual shipping may be less than the cart estimate, and any extra charges will be refunded. Custom whips are made just for you, so we do not accept returns on this item.
